Terms & Conditions of Warranty
Warranty of parts and Peripherals
All part purchase at Micro@Informatique are covered by a limited 30 days warranty on material defect.
This warranty doesn't cover abusive use, physical damage or any manipulation causing a damage to the part.Those limitations included but not limited to electrical static discharge, physical damaged, water damaged, extreme temperature, electrical overload or any other condition not conform to normal use.
Part incompatibility doesn't qualify as defect. The manufacturer warranty can exceed the warranty available in store.
The customer always have the option to directly deal with the manufacturer if he wish. This warranty doesn't cover the time spend by the technician to do the repair. The warranty also doesn't cover any lost time by the customer or any data lost, productivity, revenu or any activity related to the use of the part resulting a malfunction.
In no case the warranty will cover software problem like a bad instalation of driver, virus , spyware, malware, instable operating system, incompatibility with
customer computer or any other physical defect of the part.The customer must deal directly with manufacturer authorize repair center if he provide a longuer warranty. The customer must provide the original invoice for any repairs under warranty. Service charge of 35,00$ will be add to any product with no defect. A 48 hours minimum request for test purposes. Any defect product have to be return and ship to us pre-paid with the original package with cable, book and any others accessories that are include with the defect product. Micro@Informatique will take charge of all formality regarding the return of merchandise needing to be replace by the manufacturer. The replacement delay will vary upon the manufacturer.
Systems warranty
Warranty on Micro@Informatique system are identical as the parts warranty. This labor warranty is not applicable to any defect product. The basic warranty is only offer in store. The customer is responsable to clean his computer to prevent dust accumalation. The clean up is not cover by the warranty. It is recommended to clean the computer once every 6 months ; more often if there is more dust cumulation, like in the fan or back connector. Any defect resulting of a lack of clean up won't be cover by the warranty.
Notebooks, Computer brands and printer warranty
Micro@Informatique doesn't provide any warranty on Notebooks, Computer brands and printer. This warranty indicated that the product will be warranty by the manufacturer only. It become the responsability of the customer to contact the manufacturer for the replacement of the defective product.
Windows Installations
The warranty doesn't include bad use of any Microsoft Windows operating system bought with the computer, or any others softwares install by the customer, virus problem, spyware, malware, drivers problem or any other malfunction causing the unstability of the operating systems.Micro@Informatique is discharge of any responsability. This warranty doesn't cover any pre-installation done by the customer when he own the windows software.
Refund policy
All purchases are final. No refund or exchange for the products. The normal warranty of repair/replacement is applicable. A 30% restocking fee is apply for refuse or returned products. If the part could not be replace, a credit will be issue in favor of the customer. Transport costs are not refundable.
